UK Visit Visa long term

Hi Sir, i am living in US on F1 visa and i am full time employed. My wife is my dependent as i am the breadwinner. I have studied and lived in UK for around 6 years and i have visited many countries like Canada Australia US and UK. I am applying for 2 year visit visa while i am thinking of applying for 6 months for my wife as she has never been to UK before. She lives with me in US and we want to visit our family in UK
Few questions:
Should i apply two years visa for my wife or should i apply 6 months for her ? I would be applying for 2 year as i have been to UK before.
Also what do i write to justify my 2 year visa, can i mention my intention of visiting UK again in next 2 years as a reason to justify the 2 year visa?

Apply for a 6 month visitor visa for your wife. An application for a longer visa stands an extremely slim chance of being approved.
