Tier 4 Academic Progression

Post by ted5555 » Thu Apr 04, 2019 3:02 pm

Hi,

I am currently pursuing my MSc degree (level 7) and my official graduation will be in December 2019. However, i wish to pursue a degree at a lower level (level 6) in September 2019. I know that i need to go to my home country and apply to a new tier 4 visa, but does that mean my current tier 4 will be deleted? do i need to prove academic progression if i am applying from my home country?

thanks!

If new Tier 4 leave is granted, yes. If not, no.

No. See paragraph 57b of the Tier 4 policy guidance:
