EEA Family Permit questions

Hello I am about to apply for a EEA residence card. My partner did the settled status month ago, now that we decided to stay here I want to apply for the EEA Family member residence car, do anyone knows how long they will keep my passport and Spanish residence card. I have to travel in June.

If you look at the latest timelines for RC applications, you will find that the total process is taking in avrage about a month.
