I have helped my wife submit her spouse visa from Taiwan.
Online application submitted 15/4/19
VFS document scan and biomentrics completed 17/4/19 (today)
Our 6 monthly statements of our 62,500 pounds are dated from 11/10/18 up to 11/4/19 and are all originals. We also have a letter from our Bank stating our account has been in joint names since 2015 and the required cash savings have been there since October 2018.
However, we included a declaration of the source of funds for our Cat D 62,500 pounds savings which we wrote on a word document, signed and dated it 17/4/19. This is 2 days after the online application. We also included a covering letter also dated 17/4/19.
After extensive reading on this forum, I am slightly worried that the Declaration of source of funds will be void as it was signed and dated after the online submission (even though we wrote it weeks ago!). I know having read on here that this may only apply to financial statements, wage slips and bank certificates etc, but does anyone have any thoughts on if the declaration will be ok? After all, it is simply a written statement signed by both my wife and me.
