Post by carlabeach » Sun Jun 22, 2008 3:37 pm

what happen when someone is applying for a settlement visa and is pregnant. Should the husband give financess x2? meaning he can sustent the mother and the child?
but in the application is not any question asking if you are pregnant, do you need to say to the ECO ?

The sponsor would need to show that he can financially "afford" to provide for the applicant and any dependants. If his bank statements are always overdrawn and he has very little or no savings, then it is obvious that he may not be able to support you and the ECO could refuse citing he/she believes you may resort to public funding. But if your Husband is working, has savings, and his bank statements look healthy, then you shouldn't have a problem.
