Need a bit of help. (I am an Irish citizen living in the UK)

My fiancee and I are due to get married in a month. We started dating last December a year after I broke up from my relationship of 8 years.

We met in summer 2016 when he came to London at a friend's event. At that point, when he asked about me, he was told I was in a relationship so he left things.. He followed me on IG watched me closely enough. He had seen that I was single before before summoning the courage to ask me out in December.

As such really we only have proof of his travel into the UK summer 2016. I have proof of our relationship since December 2018. We have spoken to each other on every single day and mostly video call 2 hours every night. When I traveled in went in March, I met his family and he proposed. All pictures are on IG and all his MCE, WCW posts as well.

Based on the background I have given, I intend to make his application a week after we marry. I will like him to join me so that we can together start a family and we can both contribute to our honey moon in December.

So I need to know:


1) What financial documents do I provide? How far Bank statements? I earn £40k per year excl bonus.

2) Do I have to be living in a one bedroom flat? I am currently living in a single room ens-suit. Living in a one bed for me now is really unnecessary expense. but we are looking on getting a bigger accommodation when he gets his visa. We have been viewing and all our exchanges are on chat.

3) Will our dating time be enough? P.S i know they get a lot of crazy applications but this person comes from a good family who travel a lot and had have never entered illegally. He had a 2 year uk visa too and has held a visa since he was a child so no desperado situation here.

4) Any sort of advise will really help. I am in a very delicate place in my life, I am also worried about Brexit and change of rights. Finding a partner in the UK not easy in the UK especially for women of color.

You get used a lot by married men looking for cheap breaks from their wives hence when you find someone and HRM starts acting up, its bad really. I have contributed to this country, paid taxes etc. It will be completely unfair not to let me be with someone I adore or make us go through any sort of mental stress.

4) He is in Nigeria. Do we need to do a Bio metric first before submitting his application? Where does he make the application? Lagos or Abuja?
