the applicant and dependant are applying for ec at the same tim. however the maintenance fund is in the account of dependant.

Does an EC application (under HSMP) in your country requires evidence of maintenance funds?? AFAIK, this is a requirement under Tier 1 only.

Check with local BHC / VAC.

Usually EC under HSMP requires documentary evidence of funds to prove that the applicant possesses enough money to sustain himself in UK for some time in the beginning. But the requirement of a prescribed amount and maintaing a minimum for 3 months is a Tier 1 requirement.

Anyhow, how about converting the bank account that's in your name into a joint account with the main applicant?? Once this is done, get the bank to issue a statement which reflects both the names (main applicant + dependent) as account holders. And get the bank to issue a letter to confirm that the funds are readily accesible by both the main applicant and the dependent. This might help.

I don't think ECO will approve an application without proof of funds / bank account in the name of the main applicant either as individual account holder or a joint account holder.

thank you.

we changed the status of account to joint account. the bank will provide me the letter about authorization of usage over account. it also shows
the account movements as it is with back value.

Thanks once again.
