Tier-2 or Work Permit

Dear Friends,

I have joined an Indian IT Services Firm.
I have an option of evaluating to work with a UK based client provided my Visa gets processed.

here is the situation:
I have not completed 6 months in the organisation. Hence, the work permit needs to be processed after advertising the profile in reed or monster.co.uk.

is there any changes to the above rule, at this point in time.
