EU family member granted settled status but residence card exprising soon

I have spent so much time researching and contacting the EU settlement scheme regarding this issue but I only get very generic messages like ( your stauts is in digital form)

Basically I'm EU family member granted settled status few weeks ago and my BRC expiring in couple of months what's happening after?
How can I renew it ? With the new stauts?

Because you already have biometric Rc they are not sending you new one until it’s expired

When it expired you can write to them to issue you new BRP under Eu settlement
Similar to driving license .

Do you know where it's written that I can easily apply for BRP once current one expires?

As I searched for an answer and can't find any
