EU settle application form questions

Dear Madam / Sir,

I am Non-EEA family member held EEA2.

I have questions about the EEA2 apply EU settlement.
When can I apply for the settlement, my time schedule below :

I entered UK on August 2014 ( visitor visa)
And I live with my husband since then.

We married in UK in November 2014 in UK.
I applied for EEA2 inside UK.

My EEA2 issued by May 2015, valid until May 2020.

I confuse about the 5 years continues residency period.
As me and my husband live together since August 2014,
But I hold a visitor visa, is it count into the 5 years residency period ?

Or it count from our marriage date on November 2014?
Or it coming from my EEA2 issued date on May 2015?

From the date of marriage.

You'll only get Settled Status on or after the date of marriage. If you apply before, you should get Pre-Settled Status.

So is it means if I married in Uk, the 5 year count day is from the marriage date until now ? So I should apply after this November ( our marriage date)

So it doesn’t matter if I was hold the visitor visa.

If I have to send Post to the home office on 13 May to get my settle ,
How long will get process and send back my passport ?As I will go to a holiday on 8 June, I worry I can’t get my passport back on time.

If I still use my EEA2 to travel EU, is it ok?

Better to do online. EEA2 postal application will take at least 6 months, my application result outcome was after 7 months by post.

Online processing time is 10 to 14 days in case if they dont require any more info but some of our friends on this board have been waiting from the last a month now.

So its your decision.

Thank you for the reply , I already have EEA2 resident card nearly five year, I need to apply to EU settle, do I need to wait 6 months to get settle ? I am confuse .

Hi,

I am non EU family, after I filled EU settlement online form, it it said I need to book biometric appointments, so I booked though UKVCAS.

The UKVCAS asked me to upload my documents on its site, but I already upload all files on EU settlement online system in home office , why it ask me to upload again ?

The UKVAs site said : there are a list of mandatory document, I must provide a document in each categories, include ( 1, other, 2, residence Uk, 3, Finance, 4, proof of business, 5, life event, 6, medical information, 7, employment, 8, proof of identity, 9, educational, 10, proof of application)

I don’t have any business in Uk, how can I provide a document in (4, proof of business.) ?

What is proof of application ? in my mind is a email from home office said I summit a application and now it need to book a biometric appointment, is it right ?

Medical information , I have a dental letter and hospital letter , is it ok. ? Or need a prescription?

As I am current hold the EEA family residence card, can I provide it as evidence in (2 residence Uk).?
