Uploading documents to spra serita

Post by dalaremal » Tue May 14, 2019 12:28 pm

Hello

I have applied today for ILR under tier 2 and have booked an appointment (super priority) for 10th June 2019 for which i have paid 3208£. (Free appointment)

I have not uploaded any documents as I am thinking sopra officials will do it on day of appointment. Am I right?

Please

From free appointment, I am guessing that your appointment is at one of the core centers and you have not paid extra for other services (e.g. scanning), then no, they won't do this for you. They might scan one or two documents (e.g. your passport - for counter check I think) but won't scan everything. You have to do this before you attend your appointment.

p.s: I just checked my account (MN1 application for my children) and in there scanning is free but you have to select this service in your UKVCAS account if it is showing free for you as well.

From the looks of it, it seems that they will scan them for you.

As of my knowledge, the scanning at core centres come at an additional charge. They will scan for you but you might have to pay for it. I am not entirely sure why the invoice shows £0 though.

Not in my account (appointment is in Cardiff Center). The below is showing in the buy services category.

Document scanning
£0.00 per person
Would you like UKVCAS to scan and upload your supporting documents for you?

Select the Document Scanning service for each group member who requires the service and bring all of your supporting documents with you to your appointment. UKVCAS will then scan and upload everything on your behalf.
This service is currently free of charge.

I think they have recently made it free of cost for a limited time offer. Previously, it used to be charged. Refer to:

https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/additional-services/detail

“Document scanning
If you are applying at a Core Service Point, UKVCAS can scan and upload all of your supporting documents for you during your appointment. Simply select how many people in your group require the Document Scanning service when booking your appointment and bring all of your documents with you to the service point. UKVCAS staff will scan everything in front of you and give you back all of your documents once complete.

It will speed up your appointment if you come with your documents already grouped by applicant and ordered by category, following the checklist provided to you by UKVI. Please also remove any staples or paperclips.

Complementary package
If you have booked an appointment at one of our Enhanced Service Points or Premium Lounge, or are using a Mobile Pop-up or VIP visit service, the Document Scanning service is included as part of that appointment.

Price
You can select the Document Scanning service for each member of your group when you book your Core Service Point appointment.

There is currently no charge for this service for a limited period of time.
