Help me out of this Dilemma.

Post by Twin » Sat Jun 28, 2008 3:21 am

One of the requirements for the rights of access to a child visa is for me to be able to maintain myself and any dependants.

I've run out of funds so I can't prove maintenance on my own having spent it all on legal fees.

I can prove accomodation but haven't got didly squat in savings. Can my ex give me full support (maintenance)?

I also have a job offer.

Any advise?

Are you in the UK at the moment? If so, your spouse visa still has to be current.
There's no prohibition on working in the Rules, so if the job pays enough to support you, you're ok.
(Rule of thumb - if it doesn't say you can't do something, then you can).
