Fiancee Visa refused - Casa Or CR001 Please help

Post by BigglezUK » Mon May 20, 2019 10:29 pm

Good Evening all,

Please accept my apologies if this comes across as cheeky or needy... I don't intend for it to be so.
I'm just hoping that I can get the attention of 2 people that offered their assistance and gave myself and my fiancee the huge sense of relief that we so desperately needed.

A while back I posted a topic regarding my fiancee's visa being declined:
immigration-for-family-members/fiancee- ... 73012.html

Casa, CR001, you kindly offered to help with regards to looking over any more info but i'm not sure if you've noticed our replies. Again, i'm sorry if this seems inappropriate.

This is the list of documents we have so far:

-UK Fiancée Visa Application
-Biometrics
-Fiancée’s Letter of intent
-Finance’s passport copy
-Finance’s Birth Certificate (copy)
-Fiancée’s Birth Certificate (copy)
-Fiancée’s Divorce Decree (copy)
-Proof of Relationship – Cover letter from Fiancé, WhatsApp conversations, Pictures together, Skype -
conversations
-Proof of Accommodation - Lease Agreement, Electric and Gas bill, Letter from Landlord
-Appendix 2 Financial Requirement Form
-Fiancé’s Pay slips (one year worth, despite only requiring 6 months)
-Fiancé’s Bank Statements (matching pay slips)
-Wedding Plans – Quotes for cake, DJ, and invitations, Receipt of booking at Registry Office.
-Sponsorship Form with Council Tax Notice
-Letter from Employer
-Proof of employment
-Letter from Fiancée’s parents
-Letter from Fiancé’s parents

Please can you see if there's anything you think we may have missed?
I understand you're not able to offer legal advice, i'm just wondering if anything stands out to you.

Thank you, again, for all your support on here. Based on the support you offered me and my partner, I can only begin to imagine all of those families that you've helped be together over the years. Next month will be the one year point of us having been apart and it gets tougher each day. I know that I'm not the only one feeling this pain, so you all have my thoughts and prayers.

Your fiancee also requires A1 level English from a Home Office approved test provider, or a NARIC ELA (Red Route) if she holds a degree taught in English.

Birth certificates aren't required.

I wish you both a successful application.

Edit: I can now see that your fiancee is applying from the USA, in which case ignore my comments regarding proof of English proficiency. It all looks good to me. :)

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
