turkish musician - gigs in Paris. Visa type?

What type of visa does a Turkish, UK based professional musician need to play a couple of gigs in Paris.

I think pro footballers playing tournaments in France can do it on a Schengen Visa, is this the case for musicians.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
