Difficult situation - Need advice - ILR routes

Post by huskhan9 » Mon Jun 10, 2019 6:18 pm

Hi Forum,

I am seeking help on behalf of my friend. He is in a difficult situation and very worried.

He is married to an ILR holder and after interviews, rejections and appeals HO gave him discretionary visa based on Immigration Rules under 276BE with reference to GEN3 .2 by meeting the requirement of paragraphs 276ADE (1) (iv) of these rules.

However, the relationship/marriage is falling apart now, and his wife is demanding divorce.

Next year November 2020 he will complete 10 years legal stay in the UK.

Given his circumstance what options are available to him to get ILR?

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
