ILR with tier 2 general after a period of tier 2 dependant

Post by A A ATTIA » Tue Jun 11, 2019 11:32 am

Hello,
I am currently on tier 2 dependent visa for about a year and a half, I will now get my tier 2 visa soon. when will I be able to apply for ILR? would the year I spent in Uk counted in the 5 years? or I will start from scratch?
Also given that my children are dependent on their mum; is this going to affect their application for ILR ( I mean are they going to be delayed?)
Thanks in advance. :)

You have to start from zero when you change from dependent to new tier 2 general.
