Application made 2 weeks past, no acknowledgement letter

Post by kamsi » Thu Jun 13, 2019 8:47 am

I made an online application on 24th May for the extension of FLR (FP) and provided biometrics on 28th May (2 weeks and 2 days ago); however I am yet to receive an acknowledgement letter from the Home Office. My leave to remain expires on 30th June, and for me to continue working beyond this date my employer is requesting for the acknowledgment letter so that they can contact employer checking service to ascertain that I have an existing application with the Home Office which would trigger Section 3C rights that enables me to carry on working until the application is decided.

For the forum members who have recently made application, from your experience how long did it take to receive an acknowledgement letter from the date biometrics was provided?
