Surinder Singh route and EU Settlement Scheme

Dear Respected Obie, CR001 and Other respected Seniors,

One information I am looking for. Is Surinder route still active or included in EU Settlement Scheme? The reason is my friends wants to sponsor his nephew. My friend is 52 and his nephew is 31.

Is it possible can he sponsor his nephew. He is british and his nephew is Pakistani.

Please advise when you get time.
