Hi people, new member!

just a quick query if anyone can help? i got married last summer in pakistan and applied for my wifes visa in october 2007 and it got rejected and went to a hearing which took place last monday (30th June 2008).

does anyone know how long till we hear a decision? or what happens next? i mean its been nine months and taking forever!!

1) Why was the initial application rejected, and do you think you satisfied those reasons in your appeal?

2) Did the appeal judge at the AIT give any indication of how your appeal went?

i.e positives indications throughout? Any comments that made you feel 'its in the bag' etc etc.

Sometimes you get an instant 'success' there and then; normally takes with in 2 weeks to hear something in writing.

We provided all the documents and all of them got rejected because according to my solicitor someone in our family in pakistan reported that our wedding woz a sham, our solicitor said vray rarely do all documents get rejected normaly its a single thing.


2) Did the appeal judge at the AIT give any indication of how your appeal went?

No she didnt, she asked about my education, what i studied, which degree, thats about it, she woz a very picky and aggressive judge.

I JUST WANNA KNOW THE RESULT!!!!
