T1E visa renewal - application acknowledgement letter

Dear all,

I submitted T1E visa renewal (with the appointment at UK Visas & Immigration Office) in late May, through an immigration agent.

May I check if normally there will be an acknowledgement letter from HO to confirm the receipt of application?

My spouse has a job here. As the visa will expire in Jul, his employer asked for updates about the visa status for his rights to work. He provided the UKVI appointment letter, but he just thought that an application acknowledgement letter would be even better for this purpose.

I am going to check with the agent (as the correspondence will be sent to him), but would like to check the experience of other applicants.

In case there is not any, can we contact UKVI to request for a copy of this acknowledgement letter?

NO acknowledgement letter is issued. For the right to work checks, you should use the case ID on the email you get after submitting your application online.

The application was submitted by my agent and I do not see the case ID. On the other hand I have the UAN (Unique Application Number) on the appointment letter. Not sure if this is the case ID. Hope this can be used for the checking as well.

I also obtained the following contact information from UKVI. Will try to call them for the right to work checks.
