ILR appointment after visa expiry

Hi,
My wife is currently on FLR(M) and it expires in 2 weeks. My Question is:
If I submit her ILR (SET-M) application online before the visa expires but get a (super priority) visa appointment for a date after the visa expiry, is that Ok? Is it considered to be ok as long as I have submitted the form before the date of the current visa expiry?

The date of online submission is the date of your application, Your wife application should be fine to proceed!
