Can you please guide me regarding specific following queries. I came to the UK in October 2018 on Tier 2 dependent VISA. Now, I have got a Job and COS. I am going back to India to change my VISA from Tier 2 dependent to Tier 2 general migrant Visa after 20 days. I had Police Verification done before coming to the UK.
Que 1. Do I again need a new police clearance certificate while changing the VISA? I have not stayed in India after that (except one visit). I have the one before leaving India. I also have DBS done by my employer.
I found this about Criminal record certificate validity:
A certificate will normally be considered valid in the following circumstances:
• for the applicant’s latest country of residence, where it is issued no earlier than 6 months before the date of application
• for other countries where the applicant was present, where it is issued within the last 6 months before their last period of stay ended (this can be any date)
Que 2. Do I need a TB test done again as I have the one before coming here? My employer has also done the TB test here (in the UK) last month which is negative.
I am not in a position to stay in India for more than a week (Police certificate takes more than a month). I have applied for a priority visa. I am worried about these two documents which are compulsory.
