Hi
My wife and I live in Australia are looking at applying for Ancestry visas soon as we both have grandfathers born in the UK. We are wanting to live in the UK for a year then return to Australia.
We have legal guardianship of a seven year old boy via a special guardianship order through the Children's court in Western Australia.
We are wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how the UK immigration views Australian Special Guardianship Orders?
We know and visit the biological parents regularly and believe they will not disagree with us moving overseas for a year.
The company we were looking at using to process our visa applications appear hesitant in applying for our son as they think we may need more evidence that we can move overseas with him. They don't want to risk their "no visa no fee" advertising.
Thanks for any help or guidance.
