HSMP Tier 1 application and work permit renewal how to manag

Post by vijayvvd » Sun Jul 06, 2008 9:48 pm

I have specific query about my HSMP Tier 1 application and work permit renewal.
I would like to apply thru HSMP Tier 1 General category initial application in July last week. Based on the requirements at www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk , it seems that application will be successful.
However presently I am working in uk on work permit, which due for renewal in Sept 08, My present employer has already started processing the renewal of said work permit.
So I have following queries:
1) What would happen if my HSMP Tier 1 application gets processed 1st and then the work permit get processed? Is it legal and practical that though I receive the work permit, but not get my visa processed on the basis of , (as it would have been already issued due to successful application of HSMP Tier 1 )
2) Is there any negative impact of my HSMP Tier 1 application on the wp application processed by my present employer.
3)Is it prcatical to consider that HSMP Tier 1 General category initial application submitted on 20th July would be processed before 20 the Sept 2008, if I give all the relevant correct proofs.
4) As part of Maintenance of fund requirement can I show the original fixed deposit receipt from Bank in India .
