urgent advice on EU 1 Form

Post by knapps » Tue Jul 08, 2008 8:12 am

I am looking for some urgent advice. I am married to a EU citizen in Ireland and on that basis I got stamp 4eufam in GNIB for one year in 206 then for another year in 2007 and again this year untill june 2009. This time GNIB told me to send a form EU 1 to Dept of Justice which I did. They were very efficient sent me all my original documents in just 4 days back which is good. But, they are looking for a proof of prior residency in EU state for me. I came to Ireland on a student visa , met my wife here and got married here so how the hell I can send them proof. Is it normal? can I write to them to explain?? any lawyer or expert here for me

When did you submit the EU 1 FORM and when did you get the form back?
You dont need a solicitor, just a waste of money. Write a well written letter, informing them of your EU rights and in the same letter tell them that you would be sending a copies to EU representatives ( you can get some names from other posts on this website)
