I sent exactly what they asked for during the online passport application process. In my case they asked for Certificate of Registration, my US passports (all) and a document I had someone fill out to confirm my identity. What they ask for I think varies somewhat from one application to the next.
Congratulations ?Jeanelsie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 3:33 pmThe British High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, telephoned me today.
They had been trying to contact me via email for over a week but misread the “1” in my email address as a l, so that was the cause of the delay. My citizenship ceremony is on the 24/7 - 12 weeks and 2 days from the date of the approval letter. It’ll be almost 5 months, give a week or so, since I first submitted my application.
The invitation also suggests I apply for the passport as soon as possible.
I’m very excited about next week!![]()
Excellent - your wife must be looking forward to the 23rd. All the waiting and stress almost over, and worth itConky2a wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 6:58 pmCongratulations ?Jeanelsie wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 3:33 pmThe British High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa, telephoned me today.

My wife’s ceremony at the British consulate in Paris is the day before on the 23rd July.. that will be 11 weeks 4 days since approval, and 5 1/2 months since the application was submitted.
They seem to be issuing passports submitted online in about 2 weeks.
Conky2a wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 3:55 pmThere was one poster, jhproperties from South Africa, who was in the sane boat, butwe have not heard from them recently.
I have no idea what to suggest or what the problem could be. My wife applied from France and received a biometrics request and notification of a case number after three weeks. That was the easy bit!
Did you supply everything required of your mothers UK nationality?
Rabbit123 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 4:04 pmHi everybody
I would just like to let you know that I have received the email for biometric enrolment today!! This has taken almost 4 months and I was beginning to feel sooo nervous.
I wrote an email yesterday to ask about the status of my application and I then received the email today as a result I guess.
I am so happyI know there’s still more to come in the process but I am glad to see it’s actually moving along.

They didn’t charge and seemed to be the right team at this stage of the process.
Wishing you all the best - hope you succeed!

Just 3 queries on your UKM application :-Was this by decent or double decent (via Romein judgement)
Did you obtain vault copies of all your RSA documents ? (I am still waiting 5 years from application) I sent my unabridged birth certificate and cert copy of my an grandfathers birth cert the other documents were original handwritten and signed . ( my parents grandparents marriage and my mothers birth cert)
The response time is protracted and I am anxious as there may be something missing.
Many thanks and good luck

She was in and out very quickly, a short wait before being taken into a side room, reading affirmation and pledge then being handed her certificate.
Passport was applied for online this morning. I will update on progress.
Congratulations Conky2a. I had my ceremony yesterday in Pretoria, South Africa. There were about 30 of us, and we had tea and scones afterwards. Passport application is the next step. Did your wife have to submit a digital passport photo?Conky2a wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2019 11:34 amMy wife had her ceremony yesterday, Having turned down the full ceremony offered for 11 september.
