Pre-settled staus question

Post by summer1 » Wed Jul 31, 2019 4:33 pm

Hello guys, i applied via the app recently and got a call from home office case worker telling me that they can only give me pre-settled status and i agreed. Now i am wondering what happens next. I did not recive any email from them confirming the decision or anything by post. I am kicking myself for not asking the caseworker on the phone about it before the call ended. Do they email you the decision or do they send something a letter or card in post.
If anyone can advise on that please, i will appreciate it greatly.
Thank you

They just send an email, between one day and 3-4 weeks after the call. How long they take really depends on their mood, is my big conclusion. Almost everyone who had calls seemed to have received the email the same or next day, but they took ages to come back to me, for... nothing really, as the status had already been agreed.

Unless you are due to receive a biometric card (e.g. if you are non-EU and don't already have one) you won't receive anything by post.
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.
