as a dependent visa holder...?

rite now am on dependent visa, my wife is on work permit. first time we both went to uk and came back to india. now we r in USA. now my wife will go back to india and i wanted to go to london without main applicant(my wife). is it possible for me to go? or any restrictions from IO in airport? pls send me answer ASAP.

Hello

You have not given enough information.

When did you both leave the UK?

Has your wife left the job in the UK?

If she has not left, when will she come back to do the job?

If she has left the UK employer, then the employer should have filled in a form and her leave and that of any dependants may have been curtailed. The IO could ring her employer to see what is going on too.

hi thanx for ur reply. she came to london onsite thru her company. she is an employee in indian s/w company. if she get any project again she will come to london. that visa is fully valid rite now.

In all fairness it does not sound like there is a job for her. The IO is perfectly capable of calling the employer to see if she is working there, which she is not.

The visa is no use if she is not working in the UK.

But you did not really answer my questions.

with all the new rules and regulations, i would suggest you come along with her.

There is no point in you coming here alone and raising suspicions, which might lead to invalidating your visa.

I presume you plan to come here first and search for a job for yourself. If i were you, i would postpone.

you better check with UK BIA about this clause. There seems to be some confusion floating around this issue. Write to them and I am sure they can help you with the same.
