ILR for Tier 2 Spouse visa - 5 Year route

Post by Vmadan » Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:43 pm

Hello all,
I am looking to apply for an Indefinite Leave to Remain visa soon, I have been on Tier 2 spouse visa and have completed 5 years in the UK. I would be most grateful if you could please guide me through the process or the documents to be attached to my file. My husband has recently obtained settlement in the UK and we are wondering whether the documents that I need to attach to my file would be same as used in his application s him being the main applicant or in my application the number of documents will be comparatively less.
Your guidance on this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you kindly :D

When you apply the online system tells you what you need to send. There is no need to send employment/income related docs

I am confused between Set M and Set O forms. Situation explained below:
My Husband:
Tier 2 General - December 2013 to December 2019
Settlement granted - December 2018
My visa history:
Tier 2 Partner Visa - April 2014 to December 2019
Therefore applying for settlement after completing 5 years.
In eligibility, I am choosing 'You're the family member or partner of someone who has settled in the UK' which is taking me Set M Form.

Am I doing it correctly?

I will be grateful for your kind advise.

No. SET(M) is for people under the spouse visa route not the PBS dependant route. You must apply under SET(O)
