Post by charliegal » Fri Jul 11, 2008 4:12 pm

Hi, was wondering if anyone would please be able to help me.

My husband has a 2 year spouse visa. It is valid until 4th sept 2009. I know it is still valid for other a year but we want to be prepared. What do we need to do in order for him to get ILR and when do we need to start applying etc?

Thank u for all your help!

He can apply 2 years minus 28 days from the date he entered the country (out-of-country) or applied for his spouse visa in country. You will need 20 documents addressed to you in joint names. More if you don't have joint documents. Ensure they are spread out over the two year period.
