Life in the UK test- using driving licence as proof of address

Post by vgarsh010 » Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:01 pm

I will be sitting my Life in the UK exam next week, and I noticed that I could bring a photo card driving licence as proof of address. I only use online statements for my bank account and don’t have any bills since I am 18 and living with my parents, so the driving licence is the only proof I have. However, it isn’t dated within 3 months. Is the 3 month requirement also applicable for driving licences or just for bills?

Yes you can use a UK photocard driving licence as proof of Address.

Just make sure the name on it matches the name you registered with (in full) or you may be turned away.
