Dependent visa in Republic of Ireland

Post by deepakgeorge » Tue Mar 29, 2005 2:42 pm

I am in Uk now on workpermit. I am offered a job in Ireland. Will I be able to apply my working visa and my wife's dependent visa together with the offer letter.
I heard from someone that in Ireland, I have to work for 3 months then only I can take my wife along..Is this true ?
Has anyone gone through similar situations before?

If you are from a country for which citizens Ireland requires a visa you have to wait for 3 months before your wife can join you in case you are on a working visa. If you are from a non-visa country your wife can join you immediately.
