What happens to BRP after Brexit?

Does anybody know what will happen to my husband’s biometric residence card after Brexit?

Will it immediately cease to be valid despite the fact it says it is valid until 2024?

Not immediately.

It will be valid until December 2020.

So even if the date is beyond, that's the limit.
