New route only

Post by iwolga » Mon Sep 02, 2019 8:55 am

Hi everyone,

Seems like gov.uk has been updated this weekend and the old route of EEA2 application is no longer available on website.

I'm non-EEA family member of EEA national, who's been in UK for 5 months now for work. I just entered UK on my EEA FP visa. My husband (EU citizen) applied for his pre-settled status yesterday, so my plan is to wait for the decision on him and to apply for EU Settlement Scheme myself.

A couple of questions:

1) When do I need to send my passport by post? (I don't have UK BRP) Right after my online application or after biometrics?
2) what supporting papers you were providing for this application? I plan to provide: copy of my husband passport, marriage certificate+certified translation, rental agreement (for both names), council tax and water bill for both names. Anything else? Do you provide photos and printscreens of Whatsapp messages?

Thanks for your help, guys

Not sure why you say this? The EEA RC route has a stil valid URL here: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-a-uk-residence-card/apply
My posts express what I believe are the facts, based on the best of my knowledge, about the topics discussed in this forum. They do not constitute immigration advice.
