Extended shortage Occupation List

I was assigned a COS just 2 weeks ago. Today the extended shortage occupation list was published and my SOC code has been added to the shortage occupation list. Please can anyone advise how I can go about this? I would prefer to apply as a shortage occupation category.

However, if an applicant has made an application for entry clearance or leave to remain using a Certificate of Sponsorship that was assigned to them by their Sponsor before 6 October 2019, the application will be decided in accordance with the Immigration Rules in force on 5 October 2019."

By the way, may I ask you what is your SOC code?
