Source of income for Maintenaning Funds

Post by sv23367 » Wed Jul 16, 2008 5:01 pm

Hi all
I am planning to apply for Tier1 . I have taken Personal Loan from citibank for 1 Lakh, and the remaining amount is from onsite saving.
Will Personal Loan and Onsite saving be accepted as source of income? What kind of documents are required for these two sources

Thanks in advance,
All the Best.
Regards
Satheesh

 Personal loan as source of income? My suggestion to you would be that you read the Tier 1 policy guidance *carefully*.

Or did you mean personal loan as source of maintenance funds?? If so, read this

Hi Sush
Thanks for the reply . I have taken Personal Loan for Fund maintenance only. Can u clarify the following doubts:
1. Iam planning to apply Dependant visa for my wife after they approve the principal visa for me? Is it ok if i maintain 2800+ 1600 GBP in my own account and give her a No objection letter ?
2. Wt kind of document we need to show for source of income for fund maintenance if the money is saved from onsite trip?

Thanks
Satheesh

Yes this is OK. You can verify it here:

2. Wt kind of document we need to show for source of income for fund maintenance if the money is saved from onsite trip?

Any type of documents which said that you have earned that money yourself. Reimbursement slips, etc.

There is no such thing as "source of income for fund maintenance". If one is refering to maintenance funds, it is just source of funds!!! .. where does income come in from?

That's the reason why I was surprised the first time around.
