Hi there,
I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but I've got a question:
I'm currently looking to hire someone for a family office investment analyst that engages with HNW families from the Philippines. The person I'm looking to hire ideally has business and financial acumen because he will be advising the fund on which areas to invest in – that's all covered. However, I want the person to be fluent in Filipino since he will be engaging with Filipino families and their investments.
My question – would the requirement of being fluent in Filipino fall foul the genuine vacancy requirement in this case? It's the nature of the business to deal w/ Filipinos, but I think of it similar to requiring a candidate to be fluent in English and Chinese. Nevertheless, I can see why this can raise questions.
Many thanks for your inputs.
