WP Switching to Tier 1

Hi Guys,

I am based in the UK and I have HSMP approval letter ready to send in application for passport stamping.

My passport is still valid till 2010 but all the sheets have the front page used and the back pages are blank (at least 5 of them).

Question:
1. Will the Home office accept my passport and paste the new tier 1 visa on a back page even though there is a uk visa on the front side (mind you uk visas are stamped with a seal that kind of shows on the other page) ? or

2. Do I need to get a new passport?
