Travel between changing visa - TIER 2 ICT TO DEPENDANT

Hi,

My wife came to the UK on the Tier 2 ICT visa whilst I was on my tier 2 general. She then wanted to switch jobs so she applied for a dependant visa.

Between switching jobs, she had a period of 3 weeks to herself, so she decided to go to India until she resumes work. However, her application had been made for the dependant before she left and under the new UKVCAS process of document verification, she had her passport so we thought it should be okay to travel whilst her ICT is still valid and once the BRP would be delivered, I would courier it to India.

We have received the letter stating that her application was approved. I have also received a letter from the post that they have tried to deliver the BRP but we're unsuccessful and would require id and signature to receive the BRP.

Now that she's not around, can I receive the BRP on her behalf?

Hi Mate.

My view . I am not expert.

I am sorry to say but the application will be cancelled as the applicant has traveled out of country before getting the brp. Her existing ICT BRP also stands cancelled and can't enter UK with that. You would have been advised not to leave country before you got a decision on your application. Though you have passport you can't travel and if you travel it means you are nullifying your application.
