Cancellation of Tier 2 Visa Transfer

Hi,

I'm currently on a 3year Tier 2 General visa and a year into it, however I have gotten a new job offer, received a CoS and used it to apply to the UKVI to get my visa transferred and a new BRP issued.
I've changed my mind now as my current employer is offering me a new role that fulfills the reason for me wanting to leave.
I have resigned from my current employer though, but waiting for my decision letter from the UKVI and my new BRP.
I want to find out if I can cancel my application and stay with my current employers and take on the new role?

Hi, please tell me how you managed yo apply for a tier2 visa after you have resigned. The website only allows extension. There is a “ extend visa” button. Criteria gor application are:
Eligibility
You must have current permission to enter or stay on a Tier 2 (General) visa.

You must also meet the following conditions:

you have the same job as when you were issued your previous permission to enter or stay in the UK
you’re still working for the employer who assigned your certificate of sponsorship
you’re still earning an ‘appropriate salary’ - read the guidance if you’re not sure
You must be in the UK to extend your visa.
I resigned. How did you apply?

I interviewed with a new employer, and was successful. They issued me with a CoS, which I used to apply for the new BRP. I am already in the UK here, so i didn't need to leave and re-enter according to them, they said I just need a new Residence Permit.

However i now want to stay with my current employer that i originally have the Tier 2 General Residence Permit with, but I've already submitted my application to the UKVI to be issued a new BRP with the new Certificate of Sponsorship.
Hope this is clear? And please can you advise what I need to do? Thanks
