Spelling discrepancy

There is a difference of one alphabet in my father's spelling on my passport and my CNIC. My father uses the spellings on my CNIC for all his official documents. I am applying for b1/b2 visa soon would this be a problem for me, if yes what can I do if I dont have time to get the spellings changed on passport?
