Referees in Naturalization Online Form

I have submitted my online application for the Naturalization and I have booked for the UKVCAS services. Then I realized that one of my referees is unreachable after giving his details on the online form. he has just disappeared and he is unreliable to me.
I really don't know what I shall do and my appointment is in three days. Please help me

Arrange another referee who you think is reliable. Write a cover letter and mention the new referee details on there. The same information the online form asks about the referee. Get a referee form signed and upload with the documents. Request the HO to consider this new referee in the cover letter.
