Passport interview ?

Hi all,

Is there an interview for first UK Adult passport after naturalisation ???? From the timelines I couldn't see anything mentioned . Can someone please clarify.

From the timelines you can gather that not everyone is interviewed but you should be prepared to go for one if and when requested.

There is nothing to worry about a passport interview. The interview is NOT to check your eligibility for a British Passport. It is merely only carried out incase the CW needs to verify your identity.
Majority of the cases the documents sent suffice, however, in some cases an interview is called for identity check.
