Overseas application for UK passport first child

Hi Guys,

Can you pleae advice me regarding my application for my kids first Uk passport overseas application

i born in egypt ans I am british otherwise than by descent, i was neutralized in 2015, my baby was born in 2017 in egypt

i applied on 9 of august 2019

they ask for more documents on 12 september 2019

then i attended to an interview on 26 of september

then sence then i havnt heard from them at all, and everytime i call they said still with the examiner or awaiting review ?

any idea how long will it take ? and what ells they could be waiting for ?

The Gov.UK website does state that a first child passport application from Egypt would take at least 12 weeks (effectively 3 months) from the time that the application and documents are received by the HMPO in the UK. If you have only submitted additional documents in September, there is still a long time to go.

Such applications from the Indian subcontinent are known to take between 6 months to a year.

Yes yes yes, finally they printed my kid passport
Her is my time lines

Apply on 9th of August
Asking for more documents on 12 of September
Attending to an interview on 26 of September

Password printed on 31 of October

The question is how do i track the passport as they will send it to my wife in egypt?
How do i know when they can go and pick it up?
