Long waiting for naturalization application

Hy,
I am waiting for naturalization application decision for more then 7 month. After 6 month I received a standard letter we need more time etc etc.
My question
is there any special reason to hold ?
Is there chance of refusal?
Any max time scale ?
As I received there letter so I didt email them. Do I email them or just keep waiting.

There is no SLA really.

The chance of refusal always exists but it's not necessarily time dependent. They can accept in 10 months and refuse in 2 weeks.

You have to wait and watch you mailbox. If they ask for any document/detail, provide it immediately.
