Hello everyone,
I need some advice. I came to the UK in 2008 on a visitors visa, and then sought asylum after a few months. I got my ILR in 2016, and in 2017 I applied for citizenship. my app was refused under 'good character'.. the HO stated that my app was refused because I did not seek asylum as soon as I entered the country and they advised I apply again in 2018.
my question is: do i need to mention this refusal in the new application? if yes, how? I gave them the reason for not seeking asylum on arrival during my asylum interview... do I have to put this reason in the new application again? Also am not working at the moment, is this going to be an issue?
Thanks in advance.
