Hi all,
I am on a Tier 2 (General) visa since 2017. My wife and I got married in 2018 and she joined me in May 2018 as my dependant. We renewed once in September 2018 and our current visas will expire in Oct 2020. I will renew my Tier 2 visa sometime in 2020.
We lived together in London since she arrived till September 2019. She had been looking for a job during this time but (long story short) did not manage to. So she decided to take a master's course in Durham (got rejected by some London courses) and moved there in September 2019.
1. We have proofs of living together between May 2018 and September 2019, including bank addresses, council tax, tenancy agreements, and utility bills.
2. She will come back to London after study.
3. She is not on my current tenancy agreement, and I am renting a new flat with a friend (a large two-bed one so no space issue if she moves in later)
4. She is not on my current council tax bill or any other utility bill.
5. We visit each other every other week and she will be staying with me over school holidays.
My questions are:
1. Will there be an issue when we renew next year?
2. If so, would it help if I add her to my current tenancy agreement and change her bank address to my address?
3. What other proofs might help in my case that I can prepare from now, like train tickets for when we visit each other?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards.
