Present in the UK but no re-entry stamp?

Post by ursa » Wed Nov 13, 2019 8:48 am

Hello!

I'm a non-EEA citizen, and I submitted my online application on 10 November 2019. I understand that means I need to have been physically present in the UK on 10 November 2016 (I'm married to a British citizen).

However, I was in Ireland for a short holiday from 4-6 November 2016, and there is an entry stamp to Ireland on my passport. When I came back to the UK, the Irish border control didn't stamp my passport, and neither did the UK border control.

Does that mean I don't have evidence of being physically present in the UK on 10 November 2016? Should I provide additional supporting documents?

Many thanks!

You do not have to provide any supporting documents, just scan of the stamped pages would be required.
I had been to Ireland & my passport was stamped in Ireland but upon return to UK , my passport did not get stamped, it was a straight exit to baggage collection. The process is understood.
