How will i Apply for Visa and work Permit in UK?

i was wondering and want to know how will i process my papers to work and live in UK..i am a registered nurse and want to be sure of what will i do ..i post here because i know some of you can help me do the right thing in applying.

You would apply under Tier 1 (General). In this category, you can apply as a Highly Skill Worker (HSWP) or a Sponsored Skilled Worker. The main difference is, if you meet all qualifications, you can go to the UK without a job offer on a HSWP. As a nurse, as long as everything transfer, it shouldn't be too difficult, but the UK uses a point system. You can claim points for age, education, previous experience, salary, ect. The UK Border & Immigration Agency website is very detailed and has a points calculator on it. I would check out the website below and then post specific questions related to the Tier 1 (General) in that particular forum.

hello, if you're good....and i mean really good, you may get through under tier 1, but in general, you'd have to go through the ONP programme, recognised by the NMC.

I've seen the criterias...and they are daugnting!... http://www.nmc-uk.org

Some have to go through protected learning, which can last 1-2 years. but it depends alot on which country you're applying from also.... i'm sure you won't have any issues passing IELTS 7 (all levels)
