Need your Inputs about FLR type for HSMP

Post by ashishashah » Sat Jul 26, 2008 11:46 pm

Hello,

I would like to have your advice on my current situation.
My current scene is like this:

I am on HSMP(NOT Tier 1 ) visa, my wife is on HSMP dependent visa...Currently my wife is in India for baby birth and now we have a daughter who is born in India and currently in India with my wife..
Now, my HSMP FLR is due in Oct 08 (very soon) so i need to apply for FLR in oct..

I have 2 option
1)Get EC (HSMP dependent)for my new born daughter from India,my wife and my daugher come to UK before oct , i apply for FLR for all 3 of us ..Simple!!!!
But doc . has advised my wife and new born not to travel for at least 6 months due to medical condition
so i am looking at 2nd option which is
2) I only apply for FLR for my self in oct...Then both my wife and new born have to apply for EC for Tier 1/HSMP dependent in India
and then fly to UK next year in say Jan/feb so that they get sufficient time to rest before flying..

But my Q, is , if i go for 2nd option, what would be the EC fee for my wife and daugher??Would it be TIER 1 dependent OR HSMP dependent??

Would i get HSMP OR would i get TIER1 FLR in this oct???If the fee for EC is too high(51k) then i might think of calling them before oct,so that\
i can send all 3 passport for 750 GBP ...But if the EC fee would be 17 K then i will tell them to wait till Jan/Feb 09....

YOur inputs please

Thanks
Ashish

This should answer some of your concerns. But, best to double-check with BHC India directly - so that you get accurate and updated information - and plan accordingly.

As for your extension (in October 2008), you'll be using the FLR Tier 1 (HSMP) form and the endorsement on your passport will (in all probability) read either Tier 1 (General) or Tier 1 (HSMP). But why should that (what the endorsement says) concern you?? Anyhow ...

If your dependents make an FLR application from within UK, they will also use the same form (Tier 1 - HSMP).

regards

Surprised to see *multiple* duplicate posts from a "sage"!

Why not use PM instead, if you wish to communicate 1-to-1 with members to check what their endorsements read (or will read once passports are back)??
